Logue Withdraws from State Senate Race. Nevada County Republican Party Extends its Official Endorsement to Jim Nielsen

In an announcement released on Monday, October 8, Assemblyman Dan Logue withdrew his candidacy for the District 4 State Senate election. He will continue to run for re-election to his Assembly District 3 seat. Assemblyman Logue cited health reasons as his decision to withdraw from the race.

On Tuesday, October 9, from 7:00-9:00 PM, the Sierra College Film and Lecture Series is sponsoring a Presidential Election Debate. The debate will be held in the Multipurpose Center (Bldg. N12) on the Nevada County Sierra College Campus.

In a special endorsement meeting on September 20, 2012, the Nevada County Republican Central Committee formally endorsed Assemblyman Dan Logue in the election for the State Senate District 4 seat.

Community Involvement Day and Movie Evening -- Saturday, September 22

We have a very exciting day planned for Saturday, September 22. Nevada County Republican Women and the Nevada County Republican Party are conducting a book drive to help our local libraries stock up on children's books. You can bring children's books to our Fowler Center Headquarters anytime on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We will be collecting them and preparing them for delivery to local libraries.
