Motivation -- Not Defeat!!

While we are certainly disappointed in this morning's Supreme Court decision upholding Obamacare, it should serve as a rallying cry for all Americans that cherish individual freedom and responsibility. Elections have consequences! This health insurance law (it is anything but a healthcare law) was passed in March of 2010, little over a year after voters in the U.S. handed complete control of our federal government over to the Democrat party -- the presidency, majority control of the House, and filibuster-proof control of the Senate.

Voters Reject Another Tax Increase -- Again!!

According to Loren Kaye, President of the California Foundation for Commerce and Education in an article published in Fox and Hounds, the rejection of Proposition 29 is the eighth straight time that California voters have rejected a tax increase ballot initiative. When will the Democrats get the message?? Why do we keep returning them to office in California? They have no clue about what the taxpayers want in this state.

The results are in, and while I'm sure a few more ballots must be counted, yesterday's election was a clear and resounding victory for Republican candidates and principles. Only two races locally failed to produce the desired results. Unfortunately, George Smyrnos lost his judgeship race to Tom Anderson, and Proposition 28 passed, which will expand term limits in both the Assembly and Senate. But here is the long list of Republican victories:
